This project was inspired by my own experience as a parent, having seen how quickly a child’s behavior can be misunderstood and mislabeled. I created a campaign encouraging the audience to educate themselves about sensory differences.
The first execution of the campaign simulates the distressing experiences that kids with SPD often can’t verbalize. Exaggerated visuals were created through a combination of AI and Photoshop compositing. The executions that follow show how adults mislabel kids who are struggling. The accusations are harsh, and often the child is just trying to cope. This shift in perspective challenges the viewer to question their assumptions.
